The following are high level requirements for the role:

  • 1-3 years experience in a technical environment
  • 2 years of experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Helpdesk experience is highly preferred
  • Insurance industry experience is preferred


  • Act as the forefront liaison between the business units and the IT technicians
  • Provide application support and administration, assisting with requirements gathering and analysis, as well as optimizing current and future business processes
  • Provide user support for business systems, resolving user inquiries and issues or escalating to appropriate source
  • Assist in the creation and updating of training and informational system documentation, as well as providing regular updates to the business community on system and related business changes
  • Liaise with external providers and contractors and when needed, coordinate assistance to resolve issues
  • Test releases, updates and enhancements to existing business systems, including assisting in the coordination of user sign-off and installation
  • Work with business analysts to evaluate user requirements for changes or enhancements to existing business systems and prepare specifications where required
  • Recommend improvements to business systems


  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent business experience preferred
  • Experience in business solutions or operations analysis preferred
  • Insurance industry or related business experience a plus
  • Ability to work in a pressure packed environment
  • An effective communicator with excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Ability to work both individually and as a team member across the organization
