Teamcenter Systems Administrator

Our client is looking for an All Star Teamcenter Administrator to be the primary point of contact working with their developers to build solutions and to be the go-to problem solver for critical business issues.  As the first and main point of contact, you will be administering, maintaining and upgrading all Teamcenter systems and servers. Your self-motivation to drive day-to-day operations, make recommendations and manage improvement initiatives in the PLM environment will help them meet their big picture goals!

The following are high level requirements for this role:

  • Three (3) years of experience in administration of Siemens PLM Environments
  • One (1) year of experience implementing and/or managing Teamcenter Unified Architecture Environments
  • Four (4) years of experience administering Windows Server 2008+ and/or applications that run on Windows Server 2008+

Responsibilities:

  • Lead projects from a technical perspective
  • Act as the primary point of contact for maintaining and enhancing the Teamcenter Server infrastructure's operation and performance
  • Act as final point of escalation for service ticket and problem resolution in Teamcenter and Web Systems
  • Work closely with other members of the Systems Administration Organization and Web Administrator Team to ensure the success of the teams' duties and responsibilities

Experience:

  • Requires one of the following:
    • Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in computer science, web development, information systems or related field of study and two (2) years of system administration experience
    • Associate’s degree in computer science, web development, information systems or related field of study and six (6) years of system administrator experience
    • High school diploma or equivalent and twelve (12) years of system administrator experience
  • Three (3) years of experience in administration of Siemens PLM Environments
  • One (1) year of experience implementing and/or managing Teamcenter Unified Architecture Environments
  • Advanced knowledge of virtualization, Active Directory, Exchange, and SQL Server
  • Four (4) years of experience administering Windows Server 2008+ and/or applications that run on Windows Server 2008+
  • Excellent verbal and written skills necessary in order to communicate intricate job-related processes to internal and external customers
  • Able to maintain composure and adapt in a dynamic, fast-paced, customer-focused work environment characterized by rapid change, minimal lead times, and multiple competing priorities
  • Up to 20% domestic travel
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a valid driver’s license
  • Requires a favourable motor vehicle report upon hire
  • Additional work hours including weekends and holidays as required
