Web Administration Manager

Our client is looking for a Web Administration Manager that will play a key leadership role in an exciting, fast-growing business. You will be directing the administration of the web based systems, setting strategic direction and putting your interpersonal skills to use collaborating and establishing strong and effective relationships with various teams and peers.

The following are high level requirements for this role:

  • Five (5) years of experience in Web and/or SharePoint administration, development, or analysis
  • Two (2) years of demonstrated technical leadership
  • Two (2) years of advanced web administration skills as demonstrated by working at a senior-level

Responsibilities:

  • Seek opportunities to improve efficiency, accelerate progress, and reduce expenses by making specific targeted changes
  • Advocate the use of Web, SharePoint, and related technologies, and direct requests to other solutions as appropriate
  • Ensure proper management and prioritization of Web Administration support tickets by acting as the final point of escalation for Web Administration Production Support
  • Has backbone, challenges the status quo, and pushes for the best customer experience
  • Plan, direct, supervise, and coordinate work activities of staff

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree required - ideally with an emphasis in computer science, web administration, information systems, or related field of study
  • Five (5) years of experience in Web and/or SharePoint administration, development, or analysis
  • Two (2) years of demonstrated technical leadership
  • Two (2) years of advanced web administration skills as demonstrated by working at a senior-level
  • Knowledge of virtualization, SharePoint, MS Project Server, Azure, Windows Server technologies, AD FS/WAP, Active Directory, Exchange, and SQL server
  • Experience as a manager
  • Ability to establish project plans, regularly monitor and track progress on work projects, and ensure appropriate communications with project partners
  • Strong troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve technical issues
  • Ability to identify issues, compare data, investigate and resolve discrepancies
  • Excellent verbal and written skills necessary in order to communicate intricate job-related processes to internal and external customers
  • Ability to maintain composure and adapt in a dynamic, fast-paced, customer-focused work environment characterized by rapid change, minimal lead times, and multiple competing priorities
  • Up to 25% domestic and international travel
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a valid driver’s license and passport
  • Requires a favorable motor vehicle report upon hire
  • Additional work hours including weekends and holidays as required
  • Availability to be on call 24/7
